DPL auditions should be very clear about the candidates. It should be clear that "Indian dances" and "physically disables" should not come there. The judges are asking dancers coming with Indian dance preparation to preform on western style too. but they never ask western dancers to perform on Indian styles (folk or classical). So it sould be named as "Western Style dance competition" not simple "dance competition", so that participants may come with a definite mind set and according preparations.
On the audition coming on screen right now (10th Oct/ East Zone) Arshad gave reason of eleminating on contestant his physical disability. this should not be the criteria of judging someone. he should have simply said that his dance was not upto the class if arshad felt so.
please make it clear that "INDIANS AND PHYSICALLY DISABLED ARE NOT ALLOWED".

hi

this is a comment on teh decision on the blindfold segment of the competition between the eastern tigers and uttar ke puttar. the hulla bullu and the subsequent decision are totally wrong and unacceptable. mini said that the blindfolds worn by uttar ke puttar were transparent against light. assuming that it is correct this factor initself is disadvantageous to the team as intermittent light penetration could take the dancers focus away. secondly the stagelights were droplights which means the light was falling from the ceiling down. to benefit from the transparency of the blindfold one would have to catch the rays - no dancer will have the opportunity to do so during the continuity of the dance sequence. uttar ke puttar were therefore disadvantaged by the blindfolds and hence should not have been penalised.

I am unable to understand Rani's judgement and am surprised shamak who is supposed to be the dance guru is just sitting quiet watching all this. I dont understand why is it that the dance guru doesn't have the right to judge the dancers. I feel that the choreographers are being judged and not the performance. If the choreographer is good then irrespective of whether the choreography is executed well or not the judgement goes for the choreographer alone..
For example, All the great ikkas that Madam Rani gives for Desi Pardesi are for Howard and not for the team. We know that all the choreographers are good. DPL according to what i understand is for the dancers who have come all the way through auditions and not for the choreographers who are alreay good. Also i think the title is DPL which is Dance Premier League and not CPL or EPL - Concept Premier League or Emotions Premier League. For heavens sake please judge the dance and not the emotions.
As spectators for the show that is being casted in Sony we would love to see some sensible judgement aleast. Making the coaches of the teams as judges is absolutely meaningless. Sometimes it looks like kids judgement. Instead of making them as coaches it would have been great if shiamak as made the judge. Shiamak's talent and expertise is not being used. Hope something can happen if not in this season in the next season. If at all there is a second season and this is what is going to continue then there is no point watching this show and i would be sad that the quality of the shows even sony is showing is deteriorating...
